The promoter aims to organize and host the first extreme sports Olympics on the planet, with disciplines such as wakeboarding, kite surfing, surfing, skateboarding, e-motocross, e-buggies, MTB, rafting, rappelling, climbing and base jumping.

There are also talks about creating a virtual sports stadium, a metaverse,  where sports enthusiasts  will meet with their virtual avatars, buy and wear fan products from their favourite clubs, socialize, celebrate sports with other fans and, of course, they will watch the games and events.

The original Partial Plan from 2001, includes the construction of two 18-hole golf courses and 900 associated homes. The current project, Transcendence, significantly improves the previous proposal both in its concept and in the area of ​​sustainability.

Transcendence is promoting a partial innovation of the current Partial Plan in order to reduce the urban use of the plot as well as the provision of water and electricity supplies. Once it is approved, the regulations associated with said plot will not allow such intensive use in buildings and resources of this unique natural plot, where only infrastructure oriented to ecotourism and sports can be developed. This prevents future real estate speculation on the plot so will not allow the sale of homes.

Less than 9% of the land occupation will be used for construction. This will also translate into a reduction in the construction of accommodations both in number and surface area, since they will be small units compared to traditional homes. Transcendence will have 510 eco-lodging units compared to the 900 traditional residential units that were projected in the current partial plan. In turn, Transcendence will use 600,000 m2 for sports activities in nature, instead of implementing 2 golf courses, and, through efficient management of water resources, will consume a fifth of what the previous proposal had projected.

In September 2024, the Andalusian Government has sent the Transcendence scope document to the Coín City Council, the project for the practice of adventure sports and experiences in nature.

Transcendence, which was declared a project of Strategic Interest by the Andalusian Government, has been analysed over the last ten months by technical managers from different public bodies who have drawn up this Scope Document. Based on the initial draft presented by the promoters of the initiative, Natural Call Initiatives, the different administrations have issued reports on the suitability of the project from the legal, environmental and energy and water resource management points of view. These bodies include the Public Hydraulic Domain and Water Quality services, the Protected Natural Areas, the Natural Environment Management, Cultural Assets and the Waste and Soil Quality, Air Quality and Livestock Trails departments of the Andalusian Government.

In the scope document presented by the Andalusian Government after consultations with the aforementioned bodies, no incompatibilities of the project with the chosen location have been identified, nor are substantial modifications to it proposed to adapt it to the terrain . It is also noted among the conclusions of the scope document that among the different urban options for the project, Trascendence is the most environmentally sustainable alternative.

The project is now entering a new phase of the so-called Partial Plan Innovation, which will reduce the initially approved building capacity to adapt to the characteristics of Transcendence, which envisages a lower land occupation. This outdoor adventure sports project plans to create more than 700 direct jobs and more than 2,000 indirect jobs in its area of influence, with a significant impact in terms of job creation and wealth in Coín and the entire Guadalhorce region.
